Cask. Dark chestnut brown with a small tan head. Watery at first with some brown sugar notes dominating. Molasses and dark dried fruit. Soft carbonation, little bitterness, soft malty finish. I feel it is a bit too thin to really carry the flavours.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Black with thick tan lasting head good aroma with some coffee and chocolate hints Some initial sweetness in the taste which may come from the port then a nice roasty coffee bitterness develops. Some lingering warmth at the finish - oddly for a modest abv. Maybe it is the port found it a bit watery but decent.

Mellow rounded roast, with burn malt with dark chocolate, dried fruit and a nice bitter coffee roast finish. The finish has a slight metallic finish. A nice smooth stout with a roast finish and a dry nice decent character.
