Bottle as Royal Oak Traditional Bitter. Cloudy amber with some sediment. Light tasting. Bitterness comes though slowly in the finish. Overall, seems a bit 2 dimensional.

Oct 10, 2008 Bright copper colored body with a light khaki head. The aroma has rich caramel and oranges. There is also some milk chocolate rabbit. The taste is largely milk chocolate with hints of apple. There was also some rich bread crust. A nicely made brew with a roasted finish. Hints of iced tea start to come through as it warms.

Jul 26, 2008 1/2 pint cask at The Wharf, Aalborg. Ruby color, fuzzy off-white head. Aroma is sweet malty and fruity. Flavor is sweet malty with fruit. Nice sweet fruity finish. Bitterdry aftertaste.

Jul 4, 2008 A golden ale with an extra thick frothy off white head, very carbonated. A pleasant citrusy malt aroma, grassy, lightly oxidized and biscuit. In mouth, crisp malt and light hopping, light mineral noted. Still in good shape. Tasted Nov. 2006, for a BB of 29-09-05.

Taste: Quite hopsy, then malt. Bitter aftertaste.
