Pours a hazy amber colour with a thin sticky tan head. The aroma is light and sweet with malty chocolatey notes. Flavours are light, but crisp, malty, chocolate milk taste, with a touch of hoppy, citrus grapefruit in the finish. A pretty good bitter but the fullers bitter is much better.

Jul 4, 2008 A golden ale with an extra thick frothy off white head, very carbonated. A pleasant citrusy malt aroma, grassy, lightly oxidized and biscuit. In mouth, crisp malt and light hopping, light mineral noted. Still in good shape. Tasted Nov. 2006, for a BB of 29-09-05.

Aroma: Malt and hops. Some berries.
Taste: Quite hopsy, then malt. Bitter aftertaste.

Jun 28, 2008 Cask at the Bricklayers Arms, Putney, 1st June 08. The strength is instantly apparent. Interesting malty taste with the ghost of a coconu flavour too. Smooth palate but not much to my taste.

Jun 16, 2008 Bottle. Murky copper, nice cloudy pale head. Mildly caramel malty nose, dried ginger, apple. Flavor is apple pie, spices, bitter orange, dull earthy bitterness. Very stuffy. A bit watery palate. Not really my thang.

Jun 8, 2008 Bottle from Malthouse. Poured a wonderful amber colour. Has an oaky aroma with some fruit. Tastes of burnt malt, hops, nice and bitter. Malt lingers. Gooood.
