wilderthanyou (303), Guelph, Ontario, Canada Dec 9, 2007 Pours a hazy amber colour with a thin sticky tan head. The aroma is light and sweet with malty chocolatey notes. Flavours are light, but crisp, malty, chocolate milk taste, with a touch of hoppy, citrus grapefruit in the finish. A pretty good bitter but the fullers bitter is much better.
Lubiere (3146), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Jul 4, 2008 A golden ale with an extra thick frothy off white head, very carbonated. A pleasant citrusy malt aroma, grassy, lightly oxidized and biscuit. Interesting malty taste with the ghost of a coconu flavour too. Smooth palate but not much to my taste. austone (263), Pori, Finland Jun 16, 2008 Bottle. Murky copper, nice cloudy pale head. Mildly caramel malty nose, dried ginger, apple. Flavor is apple pie, spices, bitter orange, dull earthy bitterness. Very stuffy. A bit watery palate. Not really my thang. donfardz64 (31), Wellington, New Zealand Jun 8, 2008 Bottle from Malthouse. Poured a wonderful amber colour. Has an oaky aroma with some fruit. Tastes of burnt malt, hops, nice and bitter. Malt lingers. Gooood.
