| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Aug 31, 2009 Appearance: Yellowy gold colour, slightly hazy, with a clean white head that fades fast. Average level of carbonation.
Aroma: A sweetness that has a kind of plasticy scent, strangely pleasant though. Lemony citrus aromas, providing a sharpness on the nose. There are also biscuity malts.
Taste: The initial taste of biscuity malts is beautifully balanced with a slight bitter hoppiness behind it. The finish is citric, providing a mildly sharp bitter aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Medium, lively, and dry at the finish.
Drinkability: A brilliantly drinkable beer, wish I had another one. Very enjoyable, I will now endeavour to find somewhere to try this beer on tap. daniele (1681), Italy

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 25, 2009 oured out a neat hazy bright yellow brew into my glass. Too bad there was almost no head to accompany the brew. The aroma was different than I had expected, thus it turned into a half litre treat. Fruity and fresh with the citrus combo of orange, apricot and lemon and light bready malts. The taste was quite light just like the aroma is. Slight fruit can be found and the hops are finally noticable but mildly flavoured with spice and herb qualities. Light bodied. The light malts character is highlighted by short bursts of bitterness while coming across a bit spritzy. This is drinkable is massive quantities but it does lack a serious defining quality. This doesn’t matter as Yellow Hammer is plain ol’ good. zvikar (426), Tel-Aviv, Israel

Ohhh…… that smells yummy completely unexpected that would smell this good. Citrusy hops is the first thing I noticed, grape fruit, apricot, lemon the malts smell smooth and sweet toffee, mild bread, this is so yummy. Taste is much milder then the aroma it is slightly watery and sour. Grapefruit is still noticeable but much milder, malts is weak and sweet, detecting some banana in here or is that maybe some wheat. This is kind of a yummy but forgettable beer I could probably slam a dozen of these in night and not even think about it and then forget what I drank the next morning……………" berkshirejohn (1808), Bracknell, Berkshire, England
