Sample at The Brew Kettle on 9/11/12. Pours clear amber with a medium off-white head. Malty nose with some caramel, but aroma is faint. Malty and caramelly flavor with a light finish. Not a bad aroma/flavor, just not much there.

Bottle. Opened bottle and it erupted with light brown whipped cream. This is the worst of 7500.

Dogbrick (5998) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUL 2, 2012
Sample at Red Brick as part of Ohio Brew Week. Orange-amber pour with a medium off-white head that diminishes slowly. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Malty aroma with touches of hops. Light body with a toasty character and notes of caramel malt and fruit. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Pretty straightforward Amber Ale overall.

12oz bottle, courtesy of miketd: pours a clear deep bronze with a stringy-lacing white head. Has a lightly sweet grainy malty nose with a touch of grassy hops. Starts with average fullness and carbonation with mildly toasted pale maltiness and grassy hop bitterness before a drier, fairly clean finish. Not a whole lot going on here, but could be a little more balanced.

Opaque medium reddish amber with a good long-lasting off-white head and splattered lace. The taste is an intertwining of caramel malt and refined floral hops. As one appears, the other pushes through, only to give way to the first again. The finish finally winds down to a soft bittering. Light enough to have several. Interesting, worth another look.

Pours a hazy, amber color with a white head. Aroma is of toasted malts, caramel malts, nuts, and some fruit. Flavor is light with the caramel malts, slight citrus hops, and some sweetness on the finish.

Turbid reddish amber color with no head. Smell of yeast and play doh. I just bought this at a bottle shop but it tastes like an old beer. Dull and flat on the palate. Sour funk and some doughy yeast. If I ever try this again I’ll see if this is the way it was supposed to taste.

Bottle. Pours a light amber/orange with a thinish head of off-white froth and aromas that are bland... apple juice and grain dust is about it. Flavor is pretty blah, too. Lots of apple and caramel malt with a little bit of a dusty edge to it (that silo dust feeling all over again.) This is pretty mediocre, even for an amber. There’s little plot development, which sparks little interest on my part.
