3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Entomolotweet (7) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - APR 5, 2013 does not count
This is my favourite pilsner-y beer. A good beer for drinking out of Steins :) I don’t have much to say other than that I am disappointed I can’t get cases of cans in Edmonton because this beer is a can kind of beer if that makes any sense.
1.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 andrewturba (456) - Alberta, CANADA - DEC 26, 2012
Pours a clear straw yellow with small white head. Aromas are pale malts with very light hop presence. Flavours consist of light malt and mild bitterness. Not much to this light beer.
2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 ericdevin (241) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - NOV 23, 2012
Draft at Banana Leaf, Vancouver. Decent lager, a step up from a PBR or Budweiser, but nothing to write home about (yet here I am). Pours a light straw color, minimal white head, good amount of lacing. Aroma lacking, flavor is dominant in yeast and malt, a little bit sweet, thin body. Again, better than most swill lagers from the US, but don’t know if this is a swill lager here.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 sergelutaba (64) - Alberta, CANADA - OCT 11, 2012
Bottle. Mild aroma offers a lightly herbal hop note over creamed corn like sweetness. Clear golden body is topped by a low, white, fine bubbled head that recedes to ring. Flavour is simple and sweet with some cornlike DMS. Light body is somewhat gassy with a texture that is a bit on the watery side. A mild butterscotch note of diacetyl appears as it warms.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 WheatKing (703) - Oak Bay, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 17, 2012
Draught. Really this looks, smells, and tastes much more like a North American pale lager than any German stuff I’ve had. I’m guessing they used Noble hops, though... but not enough to really stand out. Not offensive, but reminded me how much my tastes have changed since discovering good beer. So, so boring. Light gold, a bit of a mineral flavour.
1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 cards04 (827) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - AUG 31, 2012
Well, there isn’t much to talk about here. Tastes like a typical macro lager. Nothing special. Good for washing down pizza.

Pours a dark copper with a thin white head. Aroma is biscuity malts and toffee. Taste is uninteresting. Clean fermentation, small biscuit malt.

33 cl bottle, Winnipeg, MB, Canada. Medium yellow, cereal and spice aroma. Sweet with more cereal, spice and honey on the finish.
4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20 steaky (26) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 10, 2012
Clean and fresh nose. Palate is medium and fits well with then style. Tastes of floral, citrus and mild earth.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 blackmetal (86) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 7, 2012
A little malty and hoppy but remains very refreshing. Not too much aftertaste.
