2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 pintbypint (1975) - Edmonton, Alberta, - JAN 12, 2013355ml can. 5% abv as per can. Pours almost clear, just a light greenish tinge to it, no head to speak of but lots of carbonation fizz. Sweet nose of pear and pear skins. Fruity pear taste that sweet up front but dries out at the end with some pear skin notes and some slight tanginess. Light body, carbonation is high. Has some refreshing qualities and doesn’t taste overly fake.
2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20 Cinctus (110) - - MAR 27, 2013
Very sweet and light tasting. Like fizzy pear juice. Refreshing and delicious and perfect to drink all day in summer to get wrecked in no time.
1.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 RD400F (101) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 14, 2013
Aroma: Pear, apple, green apple candy, cinnamon...? Some acidic aromas as well.
Appearance: Pale green/yellow color, lots of bubbles, crystal clear. No head.
Taste: Pears, apples, some spices.
Palate: Alcoholic, artificial and thin. Somewhat bittersweet aftertaste.
Overall: This is fucking greasy. Cheap, gets you wasted and any 15 year old kid could gun it thanks to the artificial alcopop taste. It’s not horrible by any means but I think if I drank a decent perry and did a comparison I’d be less accepting.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 garthicus (2336) - Dublin, IRELAND - SEP 1, 2009
Shared by Jerc and Mabel. Appearance: Like a glass of soda water with extra carbonation. Aroma: Sweet with an artificial boiled sweet pear aroma. Flavour: Again like a pear flavoured boiled sweet, tangy with lots of carbonation.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 mabel (5043) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 9, 2009
[2290-20090626] 341mL bottle. Fruity melon pear passion fruit aroma. Clear, colourless light green body with no head. More fruity pear and passion fruit in the flavour. Light body is fizzy. Fair, nice enough for a fruit drink.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 jercraigs (6477) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 6, 2009
2009-06-26. Practically clear with light bubbles. Mild sweet aroma of pears, simple. Flavour is similar, simple sugary sweet touches of pears, kiss of alcohol in the finish. Average palate. Okay but simplistic. Bottle from Premier Wine and Spirits, Halifax
1.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20 muzzlehatch (4425) - Burlington, Vermont, USA - MAY 30, 2007
UPDATED: JUL 10, 2007 341 ml bottle from Premier Wine and Spirits in Halifax, NS (May 2007) sampled out of the fridge from a Corsendonk glass. A big fizzy soda-pop head vanishes instantly leaving a very clear, almost entirely colorless, lightly bubbly body; this could almost be vodka it’s that clear....pear aroma is very faint, seems simultaneously artificial and underripe, slight woody character and faint spiciness (cinnamon) but really on the whole its quite weak and boring....there’s a bit more color in the flavor, but just a bit -- light pear/apple juice taste, sugary and simple, with a thin and watery body and moderate carbonation, virtually zero aftertaste except perhaps for a hint of Sprite. No thanks, I don’t need anymore.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Oakes (10941) - Savusavu, FIJI ISLANDS - APR 20, 2007
Clearish yellow appearance - kind of dull. Aroma is peary, with hints of brown sugar and wood. Crisp, earthy and natural-tasting pear character again with a hint of brown sugar. I didn’t hate this. The winner among macros at this tasting.
1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 CapFlu (4010) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 19, 2007
(Bottle) CW3 gathering in Victoria. Purchased at the Clear, non-carbonated. Nose is artificially peary. Very fizzy and very bad. Too fake.
1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 OKBeer (1168) - Halifax, Nova Scotia, CANADA - JUL 29, 2005
341 ml green bottle. Essentially clear with just a hint of pale straw colour. Green apple and light pear aroma. Lightly tart green apple flavour with sweet pear liqueur coming through in the finish, along with an unpleasant rotting fruit bitterness. Medium bodied and fizzy but syrupy mouthfeel.
