Our Brewmaster had added his own twist to this traditionally-brewed Weizen, which pours to a cloudy, golden amber colour. The result is a craft brew with a hint of apricot to give it a refreshing seasonal taste.

Pours a hazy gold with a two finger creamy off-white cap, decent retention and moderate lacing. Nose is artificial and overwhelming apricot, with additional fruit, sugary malt, and perfume. Taste is dominated by apricot, with little or no wheat presence. Light body, moderate carbonation, semi-sweet saccharine finish. Blah. Regardless of whether it’s actually fake or not, it tastes fake. And when I say "perfume", I don’t mean "hot chick on the elevator" perfume, I mean "grandma in the nursing home, vain attempt to mask the ever-pervasive odour of urine" perfume. It’s not quite as bad as a macro lager, but let’s face it, what is? I honestly can’t see a scenario in which I ever have another one of these, that doesn’t also involve ice-pick lobotomies.

Cheers!

Head is nice white weizen, beer is cloudy muddy orange yellow. Aroma is all apricot, dried and concentrated. Actually not very tasty. Initially loads of apricot taste, not much wheat. A miss, in my opinion.

Pours lightly hazy golden copper with a white head. Aroma of sweet apricot, malts and light fruity floral esthers. Taste is like apricot juice with very little presence of wheat... Not a good summer beer.

pours hazy almost cloudy very pale golden with a nice and almost creamy off-white cap, some retention and lacing. unwelcoming artificial and intense apricot aroma, but also peaches, vanilla, fruity phenolic esters, sugary maltiness, perfume and candies, pepper, minerals - chalk. moderate carbonation, light body - oily, semi-sweet short grassy-herbal-citrusy finish.

Can. Pours a cloudy orangish colour, white fluffy head. Quite fruity nose, apricot obviously and some tangerine orange. Tastes sweet and fruity like the scent. Probably the best of the mix pack I had.

I grew up in that part of B.C. where the apricots fell on the and got mushed into the ground because we had too many of them. This beer reminds of those days. I hated apricots and I hate this beer too. I like most people bought it by accident. The apricot part was so small, I thought it was a wheat only, not wheat and childhood mush. That all being said, If you have no childhood memories, then you might like it over all. Not a beer, but apricot juice.

Cloudy orange pour. Head is gone quickly. Apricot and some grass on the nose. Not much on the palate. Dried fruits and oily texture with quick finish.

A very excellent beer, if only it didn't have the apricot flavour. Just my personal preference. I normally wouldn't even try such a beer though but find this one surprisingly good! -- rated via 'Find A Beer' for Blackberry 10
