Our Brewmaster had added his own twist to this traditionally-brewed Weizen, which pours to a cloudy, golden amber colour. The result is a craft brew with a hint of apricot to give it a refreshing seasonal taste.

Pours a light hazed yellow color with a modestly dense white head. Aroma is almost 100% dried apricot sweetness. Flavor is blah. Early wheat presence is very, very watery and then a strong apricot sweetness overpowers the finish. Body is too thin for the strong sweetness and almost zero carbonation to provide any body to it. Overall I was really hoping this would be a good brew as the apricot nose was fantastic. But the body of the brew really hurt the overall enjoyment of the beer.

Pours a hazy golden colour with just a small white ring around the glass. Aromas of strong sweet apricot, wheat and yeast. Tastes of creamy apricots, wheat, and yeast. Lots of sweetness from this one.

Unclear orangey copper, foamy white head fades quickly. Fruity floral wit aroma. Mildly sweet apricot taste, light yeasty wheat malt backgound. Average carbonation, light bodied, no hopped. Light and refreshing, dry finish. LF (Lagerboy Friendly)

On tap at Black Betty Burger & Winebar, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of wheat, not much of the apricot, and not much else. Flavor is dry, with wheat, subtle dry lemon peel and maybe a hint of apricot. Subtle and drinkable. Decent beer for the summer.

very light beer, very little carbonation, head minimal disappears quickly, fruity taste, artificial apricot tastes that lingers, haziest beer ive seen, easy to drink on a hot day, not very memorable.

Bottled sample. Pours cloudy orange, thin white head, spotty lacing. Nose is pretty - apricots, cream, light florals. Flavours are juicy apricot, clean wheat, some interest here, but overall the mouth doesn’t deliver on the nose’s promise. A pleasant enough brew...

Very good beer, like it quite a bit. Has a very faint apricot taste and smell but its definitely a hefeweizen beer. More a weizen beer then a a fruit beer. Its a very good summer beer and is quite light.

Single bottle purchased from a BC Liqour Store in Radium, BC on 08/10/2012. Colour: Light orange with hints of grey and yellow. Medium head that disapeared quickly. Nose: Very forthright apricot...not just a hint, also some apple. Some spring flower garden and cotton candy. Taste: Medium sweet, light bitter, light sour. Perfumy and floral up front. Apricot reapears in the middle and then some soft candied malt late. Very refreshing and quite nice.

Bottle & JJ’s house. I always seem to find something in his fridge that I havent yet ticked. This take on an apricot wheat came up short for me. Artificial powdered candy apricot kills any wheat character. Not quite alcopop, but Alley Kat and Pyramid each do a much better job with this style.

33 cl bottle, Winnipeg, MB, Canada. Hazy gold orange, thin head. Artificial nectarine aroma. Quite carbonated, subdued flavour, watery juice with a musty finish.
