Our Brewmaster had added his own twist to this traditionally-brewed Weizen, which pours to a cloudy, golden amber colour. The result is a craft brew with a hint of apricot to give it a refreshing seasonal taste.

Cloudy blond color. Aroma of apricot scent, candies and sugar. Dry and weak mouthfeel, poor beer, with no character, and just a dash of artificial candy fruit flavor.

Bottle at Calgary International Beer Fest. Pours hazy orange with a small, fizzy white head, short retention with spare lacing. Aroma is spicy wheat, apricot, coriander, and spicy hops. Flavor is spicy wheat, malt, apricot, no hops or bitterness and a dry finish. Light body and medium carbonation.

Bottle & JJs house. I always seem to find something in his fridge that I havent yet ticked. This take on an apricot wheat came up short for me. Artificial powdered candy apricot kills any wheat character. Not quite alcopop, but Alley Kat and Pyramid each do a much better job with this style.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of wheat, not much of the apricot, and not much else. Flavour is dry, with wheat, subtle dry lemon peel and maybe a hint of apricot. Subtle and drinkable. Decent.

Bottle. Cloudy dark amber. Thin white head. Strong apricot aroma wafts above the glass. Beer is malty, a bit sweet, has some yeast and meaty apricot. A bit of bitterness in the finish.

pours hazy almost cloudy very pale golden with a nice and almost creamy off-white cap, some retention and lacing. unwelcoming artificial and intense apricot aroma, but also peaches, vanilla, fruity phenolic esters, sugary maltiness, perfume and candies, pepper, minerals - chalk. moderate carbonation, light body - oily, semi-sweet short grassy-herbal-citrusy finish.

341ml bottle pours a cloudy pale orange color with an aggressively poured 2 finger white head that left some thin spotty lacing as it settled. Fruity apricot aroma. Taste is also fruity apricot with some very mild hoppy bitterness. Finishes dry with a light body and decent carbonation. Overall, this is a pretty decent fruit beer, but it is a little bit too sweet up front for my liking.

Odd fruity nose. Somewhat floral perfumey apricot profile, light yeasty spiciness

This is nothing but beer pop. The base Weisse is nowhere to be found. All there is, is an overly sweet, cloying, artificial peach/apricot aroma and flavor. The beer tastes just like peach hard candies you get with your cheque at a restaurant. Not my bag.
