Clean taste with a hint of hops. Another beer that was much better 30 years ago and is still better on tap in Canada

(Score based on original tasting) I remember this when it actually had taste! I was just out of college and was spending a little more $ towards quality. But then they were bought out by Molson; now Molson was bought out by Coors. Someday SABMILLER will make everything! Then everything can be tasteless!!!

Not a bad beer. A bit of bite to it and a little skunky at the bottom. Pretty nice golden color to it though.

Nothing special here, but very drinkable. Typical macrobrewery stuff. Not much head, a bit of an aftertaste that I find almost sour.

I liked it. Slightly above average all the way around. Don’t know how else to describe it. That’s all I gotta say ’bout this one.

Okay, everyone is going to think I’m nuts, but I really liked this beer! Contrary to several strong opinions here, I definitely found substantial green hop character in the aroma and on the palate. Crisp and lightly hoppy, I was very pleasantly surprised with this beer. Given the choice of all Canadian-made macros, I would choose this one for sure. I had to drive from northern New Brunswick into Quebec to find it (couldn’t find it in Campbellton, and haven’t seen it in Alberta either).

Clear gold with a bright hop nose. Taste comes in with a nice balance with malt and some spicinesss from the hops. Very clean, spicy aftertaste.
