This is a smoked Celtic porter, with an initial sweet flavour leading to a full-bodied silky-smooth liquorice on the palate and a bitter hop finish.
Hops used: Cascade, Willamette, Styrian Goldings.

This is a Porter that perfects the art of a bitter stout type smoked sweet and hoppy beer. A beer that is heavy and smooth all in one. A real good beer from the Isle of Man.

Bottle 33cl. Opaque black, frothy and sticky tan head, recedes slowly to a nice layer, good sticky lacing; aroma of roasted and smoked malt, brown sugar, cocoa, dark chocolate, peat; taste medium sweet and bitter, roasted malt, medium body, creamy texture, maybe a tad watery, dry bitter aftertaste, earthy notes, some ash, bit of chocolate; pleasant smoked porter.

Fine piwo with a nice touch of liquorice, malt and turf. Quite easy to drink with some hops in the company. Was not sure about "smoke" but it was ok at all.

Bottle from Ales by Mail. the beer has got a deep black-dark brown colour with an steady head and medium body. Aroma of peat, torf and malt. Taste of peat, roasted malt, torf, woods, leather, leaves, caramel and licorice. Earthy annd smokey finish. Dry, medium bitter, low carbonation. Although I don’t like smoke beers a lot, this is also for me quite drinkable and good.
