Fine piwo with a nice touch of liquorice, malt and turf. Quite easy to drink with some hops in the company. Was not sure about "smoke" but it was ok at all.

Bottle from Ales by Mail. the beer has got a deep black-dark brown colour with an steady head and medium body. Aroma of peat, torf and malt. Taste of peat, roasted malt, torf, woods, leather, leaves, caramel and licorice. Earthy annd smokey finish. Dry, medium bitter, low carbonation. Although I don’t like smoke beers a lot, this is also for me quite drinkable and good.

Cask at the Prince Albert, Ely. Dark brown with plentiful light brown head. Muted chocolate malt aroma. Lovely taste, a sweet smokiness with a savoury hint of salted liquorice. Hoppy bitter in the finish with a hint of sourness. Warming finish suggests a stronger ABV than a meagre 4.8%. A good beer and not like every other porter out there.

Pours a deep black color, topped with and aevrage sized dark cream colored head. Mild malty aroma, roasted, some notes of caramel and a little bit of coffee. Taste starts sweet, slightly roasty and with some coffee notes in the back. Finishes without any real bitterness, but mildly roasty with some caramel. Gentle and easily drinkable.

DruncanVeasey (7316) - NUNEATON, CONF N, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - OCT 24, 2014
Bottle from Nuneaton B&M. Good dirty tar pour with a nicotine-tan collar. Rich peated single malt, prune, dark bread spread with yeast extract, carob and bitter high cocoa chocolate nose. Full and complex beyond its modest ABV with plenty of inky, briny peat, coffee dunked black bread, burnt toast, high cocoa and finishing burnt nut. Finally smoky. Good peaty porter.
