Cask at The Cleveland Arms, London. Pours clear gold with a foamy, white head. Weak aroma, subtle straw and white sugar. Light sweet flavor, mild biscuits, faint bitterness of straw. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Fairly bland finish, light sweetness and even lighter bitterness. Still some hay, biscuits, crackers. Not offensive.

8th November 2010 Spoons festival! Very slightly hazy amber beer. Untidy off white head. Smooth low carbonation palate, a little dry. Minerally hop - bordering on metallic. Paradoxically the hop is quite tame. Some dry malt underneath. Finishes smooth. Bland and over tangy!

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Golden amber with a thin white head; fruity aroma; citrus flavour to start then becoming more fruity; fruity finish. Fruity and boring.

The Ritz, Lincoln. Yellow gold with a fine lid. Hay, biscuit and faint lemon barley aroma. Soft with minerals, biscuits, watery almond on the end. Dull.

Cask, Highcross, Leicester. Amber with a thin off-white head. Aromas are biscuit and caramel malts with citrus and yeast. Some unpleasant petrol notes. Flavours are sweet caramel malts with lightly bitter lemon. Has a kit homebrew character to it - perhaps not in the best condition.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms, Bristol 30/10/10. Amber with a slight white head. Sweetish, malty aroma with a touch of fruit. Caramel flavours, with some earthiness and decent, bitter finish. Ok.
