Clear medium yellow amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120116]

Handpull at Lamb & Flag. Clear pale amber with a small frothy off-white head. Perfume/grass aroma and flavour, grainy and not sweet - no alcohol. Light body, hint of astringency, mild carbonation and a longer grassy finish than I expected - fairly decent.

Cask. My first beer on a Sunday night at the Rendevous in Douglas. The beer was like the pub, friendly but not very inspiring.Golden and clear with a slight trace of sulphur. Some bitterness and reasonably refreshing. A seesion beer that fails

I always reckoned this was the dead spit of the old Wethered’s Bitter from Marlow. Good level of bitterness although not big in aroma. Very refreshing and drinkable with a long bitter finish.
