This beer really does make you sit up and take notice, Pours a pale straw colour with a spicy hoppy aroma backed with ginger. My lips actually felt like they were burning drinking this beer - the owner of the pub makes his own EXTREMELY hot pickled eggs and I thought a drop of juice from the jar must have got into my pint!
Never experienced a chilli hit like it, but overall a very rich, flavoursome pint that demands to be remembered.

A fairly ordinary North West bitter to start with but the ginger and chilli soon start tickling the tastebuds and this develops into quite an unusual experience. Overall, dry and moreish. Very unusual, and rather enjoyable provided you don’t mind losing your sense of taste for some time after! Not sure I’d want an entire pint for fear of indigestion or a digestive cataclysm.
