Cask conditioned @ Humble Plumb, Soton. Fruity and zesty nose with a little straw - nice fresh rounded hoppy aromas. Gentle malt sweetness combines well with the full mouthfeel and relaxed bitterness. Very drinkable and improves with quantity consumed.

(Cask, Rainhill Beer Fest): Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of grapefruit, lemon, grass, malt. Similar notes in taste. Quite boring and subdued. Would make a decent session ale however.

Cask at The Royal Blenheim, Oxford 24-08-09 Pours gold in colour but throwing a slight haze, white head. Touch metallicy on the nose, in fact not a great aroma. Tastewise not really my thing, bit tangy and fruity, but I get the slight tinny quality that came through on the nose, not much in way of hops or bitterness, think that I was the only one around the table who was totally underwhelmed by this. Half pint, hand pulled at Tomas Rigbys in Liverpool. Almost clear golden. Massive laceworks gradually disappearing. Floral-fruity to the nose. Fresh fruity taste with peaches added a spicy touch. Satisfying bitter ending. Easy to drink (04.05.2009).
