3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 SilkTork (4898) - Rochester, Kent, United Kingdom, - APR 22, 2003UPDATED: AUG 15, 2004 April 2003: Bottle. This tastes like a Summer Pale Ale, but could also be passed off as a Pilsener. Not quite sure what it is. Tastes fine though. [2.9]
Aug 2004: Bottle - BBE July 04. Another beer I had in a corner untouched until the BBE date has expired. This is actually not bad. It's only just past the date. Yes, there's whiffs of cardboard, but it's drinkable. The huge range of hops seem to meld together quite well - but I wonder why so many different hops have been used. There are 7 - count them - 7 hops in total. And the end result is a fairly standard, though pleasant enough, Golden Ale. Citric notes, slightly dusty middle, sweet citric finish.

500 ml bottle sampled in 2009. Pale golden body with a big white head. Light and refreshing aroma of citric fruit, grass, flowers and spices. Flavor is mild malt, light fruity, hint of acidic fruit and low bitterness. Medium body and short aftertaste.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Martin243 (476) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - DEC 26, 2012
500 ml bottle poured into a shaker, cellar cool. Clear light gold with a white head. Honey aroma, sweet citrus flavours. Quite delicate hoppiness to balance the sweet flavour. Appropriately light bodied and refreshing. Better than I anticipated. Why a "wheat beer" though? more like a German pilsner, or sweeter blond.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 yngwie (10754) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - SEP 26, 2009
UPDATED: DEC 28, 2009 Bottle, thx to tarjei. It pours a clear, yellowish pale golden body under a white head. Citrusy, resiny nose on a base of bready malts. The flavor has a quite lovely citrusy and slightly resiny flavor from the hops, leaving the malts in the far back. A fine bitterness takes you to the very end. Medium body. It’s a really easy drinkable beer, quite quenching as well, but it’s far from impressive. Rating: 6-3-6-3-12-3. 090720
Bottle. A clear, almost golden beer with a white head. Malty, crackery nose with wheat and citrusy hops. Bready pale malts and wheat in the mouth, a decent bitterness balancing it. Medium body. Slightly metallic in the finish. An English bitter/golden ale with a wheaty touch, doesn’t make it very much interesting, but it’s an easy drinkable one. 090828
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 OleR (4247) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 9, 2009
500 ml bottle bought at Meny Liertoppen. A dense foamy white head rising from a crystal cear, pale golden, well carbonated body. Nice hoppy aroma; flowers, ripe citrus and freshly cut grass. Notes of honey. A light, dry and delicate malt body, a fine earthy and grassy bitterness with fruity undertones. Properly light-bodied. Fresh. MIld, lasting bitterness in the finish. Clean, crisp and quenching. Top notch Golden Ale.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 TheGrandMaster (2335) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - APR 29, 2009
Bottle (in NZ). Pours golden, with a slight haze, and a large foamy white head. A clean citrus on the nose, hints of sweet yeast. Flavour is very wheaty, a dry palate, with a more citrus hop finish. A well balanced beer.
