Cask gravity at Battersea BF 2007. Dark brown with no head. Dullish dark mild, not much flavour. Some dark toffee, but mostly tasteless water. But it’s a mild, what do you expect?

Gravity Cask @ Battersea Beer Festival. Mid brown. Thin slightly chocolatey flavours with light fruity berries. Uninspiring mild with a damp clothy finish.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 TheGrandMaster (2308) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - FEB 9, 2007
Half pint gravity fed at the Battersea Beer Festival, light brown with no head. A very nice chocolate malt aroma. A light mouthfeel, though a little watery, but with a light malt flavour. Easy to drink, but maybe a bit bland.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 duff (5483) - St, Margarets, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 2, 2004
Cask@GBBF04. Milds are supposed to be ’mild’, but this is too ’mild’ for a mild. Very thin watery body, touch of caramel and peat, but there is not a whole lot else, very thin and sweetish.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 chriso (7062) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 8, 2004
Deep reddish chestnut colour, but not very dark for a mild. This is a thin bodied supping mild in the northern style. Some soft malt, but nothing very noteworthy. Sweetish finish. I’m struggling to find much else to say. Certainly not a rich mild. Acceptable for pouring down quickly, but inconsequential. Cask (handpump), GBBF 2004.
