2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Disappointingly mild. As the publican said, perhaps this is true to a vision of "something you can drink on a hot summer's day" [for an English palate on a "hot" day of 75F] but far too dull for its deep ruby red appearance. At least there is nothing offensive here. (on tap, Far From the Madding Crowd, Oxford)

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Half pint gravity fed at the Battersea Beer Festival, light brown with no head. A very nice chocolate malt aroma. A light mouthfeel, though a little watery, but with a light malt flavour. Easy to drink, but maybe a bit bland.
