This new golden-coloured beer has citrus and passion fruit aromas and an initial taste of smooth malt, hints of spicy coriander and tropical fruits, leading to a pleasing, dry, bitter finish (Citra, Galena Pilgrim, Nelson Sauvin)

Cask at Terminus Tavern, Douglas. Pours clear dark golden with a small beige head. Aroma is malty, weak spice. Taste is moderate sweet malty, creamy filling mouthfeel with a weak herbal hop finish. Bitter try to go abroad, better luck next time.

At Great British Beer Festival 2015. Day 3. Golden/amber beer with a small head. Fruity perfume aroma, grassy, bready, citrus, grapes, some caramel. Malty caramel flavor, citrus, hay, some floral notes. Not rough enough to be a good saison.

The coriander leeches through the beer, thus making this a pleasant tipple. However, i marked it down as I do like my saison to have a more complex taste.

Apparently the British Isles, or at least one of them in this case, are beginning to connect with the saison hype nowadays. This one has a very thick and creamy, frothy, snow white head and lightly hazy orange golden colour. Aroma of white bread, baked banana, apple peel, dried berries, biscuit, a touch of coriander but unfortunately some H2S (sewer water) as well. Subdued fruity taste, too subdued for a Belgian style ale actually, smooth, light mouthfeel, a bit caramelly with mild peppery and earthy hop bitterness in the end as well as some lingering coriander bittersweetness, but luckily subtle enough. More a hybrid between saison and English bitter than a true saison.

Cask. Clean, biscuity malt, citrus, maybe a bit of spice? Deep gold. Citrus and grass, crackery malt. Does not seem a saison at all, but good.

The head is medium, the body gold-brown and cloudy. It smells hoppy a bit citrus. The taste is mild malty, in the background fruity. Not bad. Overall ok. 10/9/10/9/-/10

Cask at GBBF 08/08/12. Amber with a thinnish off-white head. Pale malts, yeast, ripe fruit nose. Flavours follow the nose allied to bready tones, earthy, grass and spice. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry finish.
