I dont usually try smooth beers and this was my first, and hopefully last one. Drunk at the restaurant on the top of Snafell which was a lovely experience ( the view not the beer ) A swirling mess when pored it improved slightly after a few minutes. What didn’t change was the very bland slightly bitter taste with nothing really going for it. Never again -the beer not Snafell!

(Draught in Douglas on 2008-07-05) Amber. Cloudy. White medium-sized dense head. Lightly hops and malts in nose. Full palate with some carbonation. Sweetness, malts, hints of bread and lightly bitterness in taste.

It was a surprise for me to find a different beer from this brewery since in every pub I have looked so far in, I only could find the Bitter one. It was nice, the name is correct, somwhat smooth, but I don’t know why it wasn’t in the list yet, the tap was a fixed one.
