TimE (1037), Tokyo, Japan Nov 13, 2007 Deep amber color, pale malt and ringwood yeast in nose. Thin body of cherries and wood. Off dry finish. MartinT (4377), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Jul 26, 2007 My Bottom Line:
This unclassifiable session ale promotes earthy hops atop meager fruity caramel maltiness. Its bubbly effervescence overwhelms the frail body, and increases the resemblance to soda, but in the end it remains well-crafted if not forgettable.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam circumspects the clear orange-tinted copper.
-Body isn’t exactly anemic, but it’s definitely on the thin side of things.
-The hop bitterness is wooden and firm.
Bottle; thx Tim!
