Okkara Brandan er ein øl, sum bryggjaríið er sera stolt av. Hon er bryggjað við ríkiligum av øllum tilfari, hon hevur fingið nógva tíð í bæði bryggingini og lagringini, og hetta er fyrsta føroyska ølin, ið er bryggjað við sonevndari trappistger. Hon er bryggjað í november 2011 og hevur eitt sera drúgt haldbari, ið kann samanberast við tað, ið vit vanliga vænta okkum av víni.

Bottle @ yespr. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel and dark fruit aroma. Sweetish malty fruity caramel and dark fruit flavor. Has a sweetish malty caramel finish with hints of dark fruit.

50 cl. bottle. Best by 14.9.2014. Rated 16.3.2013. Pours copper red with decent, tan head. Fruity, caramely and powerful; comes across as a quadrupel-doppelbock hybrid. Not bad at all.

Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20130427]
