330 ml. bottle. Thanks Henrik! Pours a darker golden brown with a small beige head. Aroma of malt, fruit, and grass. Taste is malt, fruit, grass, and caramel. A bit on the thin side. Pretty good.

Appearance: Light hazy darkish color with a fine off white head, Good lacing.
Aroma: Bready and mild grassy.
Palate: Medium body. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Bready, malty, mild grassy and mild citric.
Overall impression: Decent ok ale. The making of it is probably more special.

Pours clear deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, grass and hint of citrus. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long caramel and biscuit finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

50 cl bottle at a posh restaurant in Torshavn. This is a beer than tastes better when you get what you are drinking. It is a darkish, reddish maybe-lager part made using the steinbier method of heating the mash by dropping hot stones into it - in this case old lava rock heated to 800 C and lowered in a metal cage, causing scorching with some back burnt tastes. Lacks the prowess of the Austrian and German equivalents. Could there be sulfur issues? I love the idiocy of it though. Pure "because itĺs there" stuff.

dark golden brown with a firm film of a head. Very interesting aroma, some barnyard, a bit doughy, very yeasty but some herbs and spices as well. Taste has a lingering bitterness to it, not the floral hoppy bitterness but more dry. Very decent from FŠreyjar

Bottle. Aroma of malt, hay and caramel. Clear red amber colour with beige head. Rosted malt with caramel in flavour with just a nice touch of Faroese hay.

33 cl. bottle. Clear, copper colour with a bubbly off-white head that lasted and left some lace work. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, floral hops, and a slight roasted note. Light sweet taste with that roasted note. Medium body, slick feel, average carbonation. Short to medium length sweet finish. Easy drinkable - good beer.
