On tap at ělfestival 2012. A clear, pale golden beer topped by a finger-thick, off-white head. Some alcohol on the nose, fruity and hoppy, with hay and some peppery notes. A bit warming on the palate, full-bodied and lightly bitter. Hay, fruityness and some faint peppery notes. Quite fruity finish with some bitterness. A decent one that didnĺt ring any of my bells. 120510

Bottle. Clear yellow with a small white head. Light candy and flowers, light hay, dry grass. Light body, watery texture, soft carbonation. Feels very thin. Medium sweet and bitter. Strange. I donĺt get the idea.

100ml, tap at ělfestival 2012, Tap1, Carlsberg. Near clear, light golden body. Airy white head. Modest smell of pale malts. Grassy fruits and pale malts in flavour, moderate vapour of alcohol sweetness. Mid-dry mouth feel. Drinkable (Copenhagen, 10.05.2012).

Draft. Lightly hazed amber gold with a thin white head. Rich and sticky in the way of Bockbier. Sugary and cloying in the mouth with bitterness low enough to betray the name Imperial Pilsner. Chewy and syrupy and a little alcoholic, and not unlike malt liquor in both aroma/flavor and body. Trace DMS manifests as cauliflower and corn, while some hot alcohols prick the tongue in the finish.
