Draft at Hvonn Brasserie in Torshavn. Clear and sparkling gold with a short white head and noticeable chill haze. Aroma is grainy raw pale malt with distinct vegetable DMS. Light bodied and watery and fizzy and brash with that Okkara house calcium mineral quality. Hops are lightly herbal and vegetal, plus its husky and saccharine sweet and a little sour as well. Doesnt seem like a serious lager.

Can. A creamy, off-white head of finger-thick height forms over a clear, golden body. The aroma has some spent grains, but mostly its fruity and malty. Pale malts that is. The flavor has some bitterness in the far back, with fruityness and a little touch of pale malts. Medium body, soft carbonation. Superbly boring this one, no need to repeat. 141018

Bottle: Thanks Paps: Served in a Chouffe glass: Medium sized white foamy head on top of a clear yellow colored beer. Aroma is malty, some herbs, mostly pilsmalts and some herbal hop ish tones. Typical aroma for its style. Flavours is also very typical for its style: malts, cream, bitters, herbs, some light yeast and light wood ish tones with a hay edge. Aftertaste is malty, some cardboard, hay and hmmm... herbs... Nah a little... Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, low bodied and a creamy texture. With all the respect but this is far from interesting.
