redlight (1035), Winter Park, Florida, USA Apr 26, 2008 Bready aroma, sweet malt aromas come through. Pours blonde with a thin white head. Sweet malts, with a small bite, hops were barely detectable. I think this would be great if i got it very fresh. It was good with my meal of borscht and stuffed cabbage though!
CQC (207), Sydney, Australia Jul 15, 2008 Again, looks like all other beer. No difference in smell. Tastes like Romanian beer, which tastes like Czech beer.
Still, was a nice easy drink. A drinkers drink to get drunk slowly one. Nice pacer rman18 (143), South Amboy, New Jersey, USA Jul 15, 2008 Nothing special - this is an average Lager with a strong malt taste. Small head - average palate. Nothing to brag about but worth a try if it is around. carruthm (327), USA Jul 8, 2008 Better than it’s compatriot zywiec it has a darker pour and more distinct malts in the flavor rw4244 (117), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England Jun 27, 2008 Poured a dark amber with a head that barely lasted.Weak slightly vegetal aroma. Malty hops in the flavour, quite a strong taste, not that flavoursome but pretty good. Standard palate: not watery but nothing special. Overall a decent lager, not particularly special but drinkable. cking (712), North Canton, Ohio, USA Jun 25, 2008 Empty aroma of very faint pale malt with a touch of cardboard and mild fruit. Vibrant golden pour with heavy carbonation and a small, lasting head that leaves good lacing. Extremely soft mouth feel, smooth and easy. Grainy, light malt with a solid noble hop presence. A touch of mild fruit and grass. Leaning on the sweet side for a lager, it’s pretty solid.
