2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 Muggus69 (854) - Newcastle, NSW, AUSTRALIA - FEB 19, 2008
500ml bottle. Clean orange gold body, some whispy white lace. Sweet cereal nose, a hint of floral citrus hops. Body is suprisingly thin, reasonably low carbonation, some sticky sweetness, alcohol becomes noticable as it warms. Honeyish malt body, a touch of citric hops, finishes quite abruptly with a chalky dryness and metallic bitterness. Certainly not the worst beer of this style i’ve tried, but I don’t think i’m a fan.

Can. Medium high fluffy white and lasting head. Clear golden body. Sweet and flowery aroma with a bit of honey as well. Flavor very sweet roasted malt with little hops bitterness, low carbonation and a short aftertaste.

bottle 500 ml brown, ext. 15,1
Head is nice, frothy, giving some considerable lacing, body is sparkling gently, colour of the body is typically amber.
Aroma is typical of Okocim beer, typical Okocim malt and what is more also some strawy hoppyness, milky, creamy and a bit chalky aroma, a little hint of honey but not much, a bit flowery, some notes of alcohol.
Flavour inicially is a bit bitter and than the explosion of hoppy nose being flowery together with a bit bitter palate, alcohol warmth on palat is very well balanced with carbonation giving the impression that the beer togetrher with hops gives some salty- bitter taste. On the other hand there is a well built in alcohol taste and extended malty and a bit sweet taste.
Palate: nice carbonation on your tongue, a little bit accidic, alcogol warmth, finish feel is chalky, medium in length.
2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 StefanSD (1542) - Lakeside, California, USA - DEC 18, 2007
500 ml bottle from Bevmo. This one pours a translucent pale-gold gold color with a small white head. The aroma is very light with a faint trace of cereal. The flavor is fairly bland with subtle notes of fruit--perhaps pears and melons--and a touch of alcohol. The mouthfeel is thin and fizzy. The finish is short and metallic with a lingering saccharine sweetness. Overall: Not recommended.

I like the fact that this is a stronger version of the typical lager, but it lacks the complexity and richness that is needed. It is straightforward, golden yellow straw color, with not much to offer except alcohol. Slightly fruity, crisp, but not noticeable.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 SpringsLicker (2485) - Tennessee, USA - DEC 2, 2007
Sparklingly clear medium yellow body that throws up a huge head of white.
Assorted fruit aroma.
A bit sweet for a Bock, but not a malt liquor either. Could use some dryness for balance.

This beer did a pretty good job at covering up the alcohol I thought, but other then its ABV there isn’t much else to discuss I feel.

Pours a deep golden yellow with a very thin white head. Aroma of a tin can. Flavour is very malt sweet, like boarder line malt liquor, reminds me of maximum ice. Finish is long and malty, with some sourness.
