10 Mar 06 - Light malt and hop aroma. Clear amber colour, good head and good suds lacing. Light and hoppy flavour. Nice thickish mouthfeel.

500ml bottle. Pours a clear flaxen gold with whispy white head that leaves moderate lacing. Aroma is, unfortunately, skunked with underlying sugary-sweet malt notes that probably would have been nice had they not been contending with skunk ass for the attention of my olfactory receptors. Flavor is the same -- sweet honey-sugary malt, medium-high hop bitterness and notable skunk. Decent tingly & creamy palate. One can sense this would have been a pretty OK beer (though not a great one) had it been fresh. Maybe it’s not fair to rate a beer that is past its prime, but I gotta go with what my tastebuds are telling me about this particular sample.

(on can) Just love this style, "EU Strong Lager", apparently a surton style of light ML fro Poland. Well to me this was just a stronger pale lager, Fizzy, yellow beer.

Not so bad. But taste more like a good lager than a strong beer. Beated my expectations.

Bottle courtesy of tupalev. Pours a nice looking clear gold with an average size somewhat-lasting white head. Sweet aroma of grain, honey and a touch of alcohol. Flavour follows the aroma with some added hops. Full bodied. It’s a touch too sweet but it’s one of the better European Lagers.

Aroma: stale grain and malty sweetness. Apperance: golden yellow with a tiny head made from big bubbles. Flavour: malty, gentle a little spiritousness and some plastic/easter egg chocolate notes. Palate: medium mouthfeel and a slightly bitter finish.

I just remembered that I had drank this. I bought the three available Okicim beers because they were $1.50 and some of two of them gots lots of alcimohol. Tastes like a strong Heineken. Lame

Bottle from the LCBO - thanks to tupalev for giving me a bottle that he bought by mistake! Light, bright gold with a moderate white head. Aroma is sweet and grainy, with some notes of floral honey and mild alcohol - not bad. Flavour of bready malt, a hint of caramel, and some herbal hops & alcohol warmth to finish. Not outstanding, but much better than I expected.
