Bottle, from High Spirits in Cleethorpes. Gold, shortlived thin white head and gentle condition. Slight estery fruitiness and gentle grain in the nose, full bodied and quite alcoholic in the mouth with muted fruitiness under the grain and earthy hops. Gentle hop bitter finish with some retronasal alcohol.

Brown bottle from Armanetti’s, Mundelein, IL. 4.6% ABV. Clear golden yellow hued having diminishing spare head with spare lacing. Nutty malt aroma. Soft carbonation. Medium bodied that starts with slightly sweet, nutty malt flavor and finishes slightly sweet with some bitterness. Not my favorite but a decent drinkable beer.

Ok I thought that this was a beautiful beer. for the style. Not ricey...not corny...not anything but decent for the style. Clean copper. Clean. Head retentioon established. Pretty beer. Nose has the usual alcohol, grain, lager yeast smell that all the euro strong lagers have. Except this one has a subtle dryness that was effective. Good smell. Flavors jump out. "Hey," they say, "We actually have hops in here! Crazy, huh?" Yeah you can taste them. Perfumey and brilliant, hops and grains alcohol. Classic beer. What beer was like in prehistoric times.

Fish (440) - Kure, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 18, 2005
The lady at the Okocim stand told me this was a malt liquor, so I wasn’t expecting a whole lot. What I got was, well, not a whole lot. Not a particularly tastey beer. It wasn’t horrible, there were some nice malts and hops poking through briefly, but nothing to write home about. (Beer #17 WBF, Durham).

Bottle. This was tasted against tyskie mocne and the to beers a almost the same. Creamy good head and light amber colour. Aroma and flavour good and palete not to carbonated. Tyskie won with half a point!

Canned. Clear yellow coloured with a medium sized white head. Aroma of malts with notes of spices and hops. Flavour of malts with notes of hops and alcohol. Alcoholic and hoppy finish.

Bottle (500ml). Poured clear bubbly gold with a decent sized diminishing foamy white head. I get sweet corn, some honey and grain (a bit vegetal) - malt? dunno ... Taste is grainy, harshly alcoholic, some stale hoppiness, the honeyish sweetness is totally overwhelmed by unbalanced alcohol. It would probably get you blitzed quickly, but I found this a surprisingly unpleasant drinking experience considering I didn’t hate either the aroma or the the taste. Has a long, unpleasantly harsh linger and aftertaste. Maybe their regular lager is okay, their porter is terrific!
