Tap in Zakopane, Poland. Pours a deep, glassy amber with an abundant white head. Aroma is light lemon and melon. Flavor is fluffy cereal, corn, and pilsner. Average mouthfeel. Meh, too watery.

Boutip (3294) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 18, 2010
Bottle: Poured a deep clear golden color ale with a medium pure white foamy head with minimal retention and not much lacing. Aroma of sweet adjunct is not too strong but not that pleasant either. Taste is also dominated by sweet adjunct with light cardboard notes. Body is slightly oily with medium carbonation. Not something I really cared about or that I would need to revisit again.

probstk (1911) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - APR 23, 2010
500 ml bottle from LCBO, served cold in a tulip glass. BB 20.01.11.

App.: Clear deep golden with a nice white foam. Aroma: Hay, straw and a slight bit of booze, malty, a little cow shit?, very slightly fruity, might be too cold. Palate: Medium+ body with fairly lively carbonation. Flav.: Biscuity malts, more fruity than the nose and less hay/straw/manure, not much in the way of hop presence; dry with a little bitterness.

Meh.

Rating #301, can from the polish store at Åboulevarden in Copenhagen

Appearance is golden with medium head, standard lager. Aroma is sour malts and a little alcohol. Flavor is marked by malts, sugar and some alcohol, but it isn’t as nauseating sweet and alcoholic at the same time, as some strong eurolagers can be. Easily bitter finish. Medium body, soft and a bit oily. Maybe a bit watery considering the ABV, but acceptable beer.

bobinlondon (1147) - Harrow, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 28, 2010
Can from a local offy. Standard lager appearence with a short lived white head. Sweet and sickly in aroma and flavour with barely any hops detectable. Cheap and nasty wino’s drink.

DanielBrown (2583) - Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, ENGLAND - MAR 25, 2010
Can from Polsky Sklep, Great Bridge. Golden. Smells like err lager. Taste is initially inoffensive - like a standard bland lager. Soon this develops into an overly sweet, slightly medicinal .........................[skip to the end]. A bit sickly, hints at something unpleasant around the corner, which never quite pounces.

Botte; pours a golden amber color with a smallish white head. Aroma of wet malt, grain, corn and sweet malt/bread. Flavor was slightly more hopped (earthy) and generally less sweet with more bread. Flavor was a bit better than expected, but nothing really all that good about it.
