bweezy (53), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada Jun 2, 2008 smells of alcohol. Pours a nice gold with decent head. Tastes of malt and alcohol. not a good brew.
MrAleman (78), guildford, Surrey, England Sep 6, 2008 Little bit disappointing if the truth be told. Had high hopes for this Polish lager after trying other nice lagers. At the start there is that familiar sweet taste of lagery hoppery texturey delights, followed though by a sour and somewhat down taste, it loses its flavour a little... there is a bit too much creamy froth... it misses out a little this one.. still its not awful, just i’d prefer other beers. schuimkroaat (384), Leuven, Belgium Aug 27, 2008 50 cl (brown) bottle, ’bbe’ Oct 08. Clear light coppery with a great fizz and a rich white foam. Nose of hops, dark bread, a hint of raisins, a bit funky. Flat, light malty taste; strange, incoherent texture with a soapy finish. GRM (830), Aylmer, Quebec, Canada Aug 25, 2008 Brown bottle, 500 ml, best before 06.08.07, purchased at the LCBO,s avoured on August 25 2008; eye: golden, clear, slight effervescence, white head made up of rather large bubbles and that turns into a tiny ring, no lacing; nose: corn, caramel, grain, light ash; mouth: thin, corn, malt, caramel layer present throughout the sip, grain, finale in corn with a tiny hint of hops, lightly sweet, slightly bitter, medium-thin body, average carbonation; overall: so?

PolakPorter (74), Chicago, Illinois, USA Aug 19, 2008 At least it’s 7% and affordable. Besides that, not a whole lot going on here. Malty and Polish. Yay. heavy (471), Split, Croatia Aug 17, 2008 16/08 0.5 l can from a gas station near Warszawa. Poured deeper golden body with small head. As usual, lemony and somewhat grass hopped aroma with flowery malt background, nice but quite weak. Alcohol can be hinted just a little bit as well. Flavor is pretty cute, malty with some interesting flavors besides honey and flower, like let’s say butter biscuit. Also some lemon hops are present here, but unfortunately everything is so weak it can’t simply be enjoyable. Pretty short and slightly alcoholic finish. Hm, it’s not bad for sure, but I’ve had few better ESLs those days, unfortunately this one has got much more potential than it offers us.
