500ml can. Pours a clear, but dark gold with a quickly dissipating off-white head. The aroma is of adjuncts, some kind of sugar. The flavor is sweet and again like adjuncts. At 5.6% alcohol by volume, this is a pretty strong pale lager. This tastes like a standard Polish lager and would go well with a meal, but on its own, you would not want to spend an entire evening drinking it. I have never understood why the Polish lagers taste so different from the Czech/Slovak lagers, but they certainly do. If you like Żywiec beer, you will like this as it tastes very similar.

From a half liter bottle. Pours a bit more gold than a typical straw. Nice carbonation but minimal head. Skunky nose. Taste is exceptionally muted from the nose, bit of the malt but watery. Wouldn’t surprise me if this is the Bud Light of Poland.

bottle from Kaufland Boleslawiec. Deep golden with a small white head. Aroma of mouldy fruit. Alcoholic-sweet start, loads of rotting fruits. A nasty experience.

Pours a clear golden color, covvered by a decent white frothy head. Mild aroma, some grainy and grassy notes is all you get. Body is light and crisp taste, slight sweet feel in the start with decent refreshing bitterness in the finish. Pretty nice one, expecially if really chilled.

Poured from can into a pint glass Appearance – The beer pours pale golden color with a big billowy white head. The head has a good level of retention, fading over time to leave a moderate sum of foamy lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma of the beer is heaviest of a sweet and bready smell with the sweet being mainly a mix of a caramel and corn aroma. Along with these smells comes some lighter notes of yeast and grass. Taste – The taste begins with a rather light bready taste mixed with a moderate sum of a corn syrupy sweet flavor. As the taste advances, more and more corn flavors come to the tongue with a little bit of a grassy and papery flavor working their way in as well. These flavors take the taste to its end where they leave a somewhat unpleasant mix of flavors to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is rather thin with a carbonation level that is rather high. For the somewhat off flavors this is probably the best feel for the brew as it minimizes that flavors the best it can. Overall- Not the greatest beer out there that is for sure. Pretty much a subpar malt in my opinion, with much better malts out there. I wouldn’t recommend this one.

On tap at World of Beer Pensacola. Pours a clear orange gold with medium off white head. The aroma is grass and herbs. Thin mouth, grass, hay, light bitter finish, decent.

Pozytywne zaskoczenie. Barwa jasna, piana biała, sztywna, utrzymuje się do końca. W aromacie nuty słodowe i chmielowe. W smaku oprócz koncernowego słodu czuć wyraźną chmielową goryczkę.

Repping the heritage. Was on the orphaned beers shelf at hop city so I thought I would give it a go. Can. Aroma smells a bit like a cheep beer. Sort of watery. Lemoney. Coriander. You know, like a cheep lager. Looks thin. Nice white head. Good lacing on the glass. Shit... I have not drank a lager in probably years. What am I supposed to be looking for? This is actually an very interesting taste. Smooth. Dry coriander malt. Hops.. there are actually hops in here! And I know it! They’re like dirty hops. Like the taste sort of like dirt but in a good way.... Put that on an indie beer teeshirt and sell it. Sort of lemony warm sour when it’s not supposed to be sour finish. Palate is dry and a little sour. Medium medium heavy body. Overall really not a bad beer. Of all the "premium lager" beer that are out there you certainly could do worse.
