Golden color, some lacing and retention. Bread, grain, grass in aroma. Light bodied, solid for what it is.

Pours a pale copper yellow with a one finger frothy white head. The aroma is a little sweet, grassy, hay, lightly waxy nose, a bit corn. The flavor is a bit sweet, grassy, hay, alcohol is there.Mouthfeel is much more substantial than I would have expected. A lot better than some of its counterparts.

(cleaning out my beer bottle collection as pictured in my profile and utilizing ratebeer.com) As I recall, this was an average Polish brew.

porterhouse (1481) - Alna, Maine, USA - APR 25, 2008
(500 ml bottle from <A HREF=http://www.ratebeer.com/Place/maryland/catons target=blank>Montgomery Plaza Liquors) Pours clear light yellow with some fine light bubbliness in body. Four fingers of white, pillowy head. Aroma is sweetish, honey-like. Body is light, fairly smooth, lightly prickly. Flavor is honey-ish, in a reserved way. Maybe slight hint of sourdough. Light touch of bitterness in finish. Certainly not a standout beer but it has a certain bit of refinement.

ph0tik (86) - Denver, Colorado, USA - APR 6, 2008
Recently picked up a bottle in Denver. Everything about this beer is sub-par. Apparently it is the Polish version of bud light. Weak aroma and grassy flavor/finish. Not worth a try.

Light brown/dark amber bottle. Aroma is malty with weak hops. Yellowish pour, with a small white foamy head that all but disappears. Flavor is sweet malts.

Rated first time 16.01.2007
Bottle 500ml, brown
Appearance:Head is medium, white, frothy, lively carbonated body creates it but this head is quickly decreasing to a minute froth on the body surface, carbonation quickly becomes less and less powerfull and body becomes easilly visually flat with some rare bubbles. Body is clear and well filtered, almoust pee-yellowish in colour.
Aroma:Chalky, alkoholic, oily, some hoppy notes present. Chalkyness and mild hoppyness typical of Okocim beer. Aroma is quite OK as for a common lager.
Flavour:Grainy, oily, and considerably yeasty, hops.Malts are well pronounced, some sugar and malted barley in flavour. Finish duration is short.
Palate:Body is light, texture is wattery to oily, carbonation on palate is very soft, almoust flat after some time especially at finish, finish feel is chalky and yeasty.
