2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20 chmurarz (490) - Legnica POLAND, POLAND - JAN 16, 2007
500 ml bottle, lasting head, white, body pale as pee, aroma of hops and old shoe, flavour of rust, hops not especially bitter, not repulsive, just average and mild, just ok for a hot day, the aftertaste is not unpleasant, which is a feature of not bad lagers, I have tried much better lagers though
1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 lovemyipas (539) - sw burbs, Illinois, USA - JAN 9, 2007
UPDATED: FEB 14, 2007 pours yellow with a one finger white head that does not last long. aroma is standard lager (cereal and pils like) and did not detect any type of apple. light body with a little lacing. flavor is the same as aroma and very carbonated. not bad i guess compared to a lot of drain pours (miller, bud, and others like them) but not good either. only plus side to this beer is you dont taste the alcohol and has a nice buzz kick to it at 5.6%abv. flavor is better straight out of the bottle but not by much.

Draft at the Grey Lodge in Philly. A ho-hum beer. Had a Pils taste.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 RCL (2025) - Waltham, Massachusetts, USA - DEC 30, 2006
Interesting green apple character in the aroma that is followed by a fruitiness in the flavor as well. Pretty good.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Boletus (52) - POLAND - DEC 12, 2006
Pale color, creamy head lasted for quite a long time. Something sour in aroma plus some vegetables. It is not complex but for sure not thin. Dry and tastes as if contained traces of charcoal. Perfumy finish.

16.9 oz bottle - Pours clear yellow with a thin head. It has a mild, grainy aroma. The flavor is light malts and grain with a hint of hops. It’s bland and too thin. In short, this is a tolerable macro lager. I won’t buy it again.
1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 1/20 Skervy (3) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - OCT 25, 2006 does not count
Bright golden yellow on pour. Minimal head quickly diminished with no lace. Kind of reminds me of a cheap American Macro such as Old Style or Old Milwaukee. Wouldn’t buy again. Is truly "OK." -at best.
1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 OKBeer (1168) - Halifax, Nova Scotia, CANADA - OCT 20, 2006
UPDATED: FEB 25, 2008 Ah, my (unintended) Ratebeer namesake. 500 ml bottle shared by jerc. Golden colour with a fully diminishing fizzy white head. Corn, grainy, lightly floral aroma. Grainy flavour with a sweetish finish as though the yeast forgot to finish eating the sugar and got bored. Mostly bland and unappealing. Light bodied and dry, empty mouthfeel. Doesn’t quite make it to OK. Thanks for picking this up Jer - though perhaps now would be a good time to change my user name?
