Bottle . Pours gold with smallish white head. Fruity, malty aroma with light alcoholic touch. Malty, medium bodied lager rather on sweeter side. Weak hop character. Plain, clean. Thanks Doug.

Bottle. Pours a gold body with a small white head. THe aroma is somewhat cookieish, grassy, and typically light. Sweet flavour with toasty maltiness and some alcohol warmth. Mediocre.
2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 GregClow (2645) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 2, 2006
Bottle shared with the usual suspects - courtesy of DougShoemaker. Golden yellow with a tiny white head. Aroma is malty with some vague fruity notes. Flavour is quite sweet and bland. It’s OK (heh!), inoffensive but nothing special.
2.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 tupalev (2708) - Waterloo, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 2, 2006
Bottle shared by Dougshoemaker on Canada Day 2006 - cheers Doug! Very nice fruity aroma. Yellow, no head. Bland light malt taste, light hops at the end. Compared to the pils I had right before this, this was bland and forgettable. Cleaned the palette though!
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 HogTownHarry (4809) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - JUL 1, 2006
Bottle (500ml). Shared with GregClow, tupalev, DougShoemaker, mds, Radek and others - DougShoemaker’s bottle. Clear bright gold with a small white head. Aroma is very sweet, honey and fruit, light sweet grain, even a bit of spice, but mild and pretty characterless. Taste of sweet cereal grain and stale papery hops, it’s actually a bit funky, and nowhere near as sweet as the aroma. Mouthfeel is ... well nothing much, really - maybe a little flat. I only took away "sweet" and "ehh" from this.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 DerWeg (1251) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 29, 2006
Less than OK actually... the LC version was labelled Export (assuming Polish tastes would reject it?) and it was a chore to finish 500 ml, being rather macro-like in the mouth feel. Not undrinkable, just Okicim’s best offering
1.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 BeerPrince (1701) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 27, 2006
Average pilsner. Golden with little head and a grassy aroma with light hops. Flavour was a tad thin and basic.
