COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A classic bottom fermented Baltic Porter. Alc. 8.9 % vol., ext. 22.0P. Mature and long lagered version of Okocim Porter. Unique dark hue and a deep and noble taste are the hallmark features of the Porter from Okocim Brewery. This type of beer owes its unique character to the combination of a few types of malt: Munich, caramel and roasted. Pasteurized.

Bottle. Pours deep opaque black with a small, creamy, beige film head. Aroma has sweet malts, light licorice, soft salty, mild smoke. Medium carbonation, fine dry and quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has chocolate, licorice, raisins. Quite elegant.

Black color with a fine beige head. Ok lacing. Rich licorice, coffee and roasted the aroma. Ok body. Tad sweet and an ok bitterness. Soft to average carbonation. Dry ending. Some chocolate, herbal, roasted, coffee and rich licorice in the flavor. Quite nice porter!

not the best aroma, I’ve sniffed. soya sauce, some alcohol, dried fruits, roastiness. Pours black with medium sized, tan coloured head. Taste is sweet with low bitterness countering it a bit. Pretty complex. Not the best polish porter, but a decent one.

Bottle. Brown, disappearing head with some lacing. Aroma malty sweet, dried fruits (plum, pear and cherry). Taste mainly sweet, caramel, low roasty notes on finish. Low bitterness. Very smooth, alcohol well hidden. Not bad, but too sweet.

The aroma is slightly roasted, bready and earthy. Looks good: thick, heavy light brown head that leaves a lot of moss behind. Taste is surprisingly bitter, roasty, a bit of alcohol. Somewhat unbalanced and a bit stuffy. Clear and deep dark red colour. Surprisingly light in the mouth for a 8,9% ABV beer, almost "watery". A slightly disappointing Baltic Porter from Poland, I have to say! Considering that Polish Baltic Porters tend to be quite legendary!

Generalnie dobry porter. Smakowałby nawet kobietom.

Sweet herbal aroma with strong malt and caramel background. Bittersweet aftertaste. Easy drinkable porter

500 ml bottle. Courtesy of Jultsu. Enjoyed at the ISKTR 2014. Black colour with a small tan head. Herbal notes, toasted malty notes, liquorice and some sweetness in the aroma. The flavour is roasted malt, bread, sweetness and mild sugar. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
