A classic bottom fermented Baltic Porter. Alc. 8.9 % vol., ext. 22.0P. Mature and long lagered version of Okocim Porter. Unique dark hue and a deep and noble taste are the hallmark features of the Porter from Okocim Brewery. This type of beer owes its unique character to the combination of a few types of malt: Munich, caramel and roasted. Pasteurized.

Opaque black color, steady beige head. Toasted, a bit chocolaty aroma, soft. Medium to full-bodied. Smooth palate. Sweetish toasted flavor. Licorice, warming alcohol in the finish with touch of hops. Classic Baltic Porter. Could be an inch drier, otherwise excellent.

bottle from PoloMarket Bolesławiec City Center. Deep black, tall and creamy beige head. Chocolatey with a touch of espresso coffee, alcohol dangerously well hidden. Smooth and velvety. Dark delight.

Pours black body with medium level froth. Aroma is of chocolate, coffee and dark fruits. Taste reveals very much the same. A nice combination of flavours that go well on the palate. Very drinkable , alcohol volume doesn’t dominate as much as other porters I’ve tried.

Piwo ciemno brunatne, obfita beżowa piana. Aromaty deserowej czekolady lub śliwek w czekoladzie, lekka kawowość. Piwo słodkie z niewielką goryczką. Posmak alkoholowy - grzeje w przełyku. Ogólnie bardzo smaczne - pijalne.

UPDATED: JUL 14, 2015 black beer (ruby reflexes, clear) with two fingers tanned color head that last really long with nice lasing on the glass. Aroma- classic baltic porter- chocolate, cocoa, raisins, plums. Taste: sweet, with flavours of chocolate, caramel, plum, raisin, and roasted bitterness on finish. Palate: full body, medium saturation, warming alcohol in finish. Overall: I love baltic porters, this is good interpretation of this style, excellenct for cellaring. When beer is warmed up alcohol is kinda unpleasent.

0,5l fles uit supermarkt in Polen. Zwart met een crčme kraag. Aroma is cacao met ook rum en rozijnen. Smaak is vol zoet met hazelnoot chocolade en vanille. Niet erg verfijnd maar redelijk te drinken.

(bottle 2015) Aroma: strong chocolate, roasty and alcohol. Appearance: dark almost black color, yellowish medium-size head. Taste: chocolate, coffee flavour , very sweet and strong alcohol taste lasting to aftertaste no bitterness. Palate: medium to full body , medium carbonation, warming feeling in throat Overall: Too stong alcohol notes in taste, it should be more balanced.

Almost black with big stable head. Quite strong aroma of dried plums, cherries with chocolate and pint of alcohol. Taste is sweet on the beginning, but finish is semi dry and slightly bitter. It feels warming alcohol hint. Low carbonation. Close to full body. Another taste baltic porter from Poland. Recommended to tasting during long, cold winter nights.
