COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Another, after Okocim Wheat, koneserski variant in the family Okocim, which promises exceptional taste and aesthetic experiences. By combining several types of malt, including Munich, caramel and roasted, and two month aging period okocimski Porter reached a unique dark color and a deep, noble taste, seasoned with hints of cedar.

Dark brown with no head. Aroma was malty with maple syrup and brown sugar mixed in. Flavoe was the same with smooth finish. Medium bodied.

500 ml. bottle. Deep ruby/mahogany when held up to the light. Large and sturdy tan head with decent lace. Rich chocolate aroma with hints of figs and dates. Smooth on the palate with light carbonation and a medium/full body and a satisfying richness. Molasses sweetness dominates, and just a hint of peppery bitterness to take the edge off, but the finish remains slightly sweet, but by no means objectionable. Alcohol was never in evidence. Very drinkable, a worthy example of the style.

Bottle at Emerald Coast Beerfest. Very dark brown in color with a tan head that lasted to lace the glass. Excellent flavor of dark roasted malt and dark fruit. Very clean after taste. This was my first genuine Baltic Porter and I really liked it a lot.

UPDATED: SEP 18, 2007 Had this at the Emerald Coast Brew Fest in Pensacola, FL. Poured a dark brown color with a nice tan head that dissipated slowly. Aroma was chocolate, roasted malts, and dark fruit. Flavor was sweet, featuring raisins and roasted malt. Mouthfeel was good and drinkability was ok. Pretty good stuff.

another overly sweet Baltic style Porter, which remains true to the style but in my opinion causes these Porters to pale against the American style... Okocim is one of the better ones though, with a better balance between alcohol and malty sweetness

Poured from a 500ml bottle into a pint glass. This beer poured a dark brown color with ruby highlights showing through the edges of the glass. A thick, dark tan head slowly faded away, leaving some chunky lacing around the glass. The aroma of this beer was made up of milk chocolate, molasses, roasted malts, alcohol, and some dark fruit notes. The flavor included sweet milk chocolate, molasses, and raisens. Overall, it was a bit sweet, but still managed to keep some balance. The alcohol was only apparent with some light tounge warming at the finish. The mouthfeel was creamy and full-bodied with light carbonation. Okocim is an excellent example of a Baltic Porter. Very nice.

Pours dark mahogany with a garnet hue and a good sized tan head. The aroma has milk chocolate, cream and dark smooth malt. Medium / full body that’s smooth with soft carbonation. The flavor starts with milk chocolate, alcohol, ice cream like richness and dark toasted malt. The finish has more roasted malt and a ton of creaminess joined with minor hops. Overall a nice baltic porter.
