COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Another, after Okocim Wheat, koneserski variant in the family Okocim, which promises exceptional taste and aesthetic experiences. By combining several types of malt, including Munich, caramel and roasted, and two month aging period okocimski Porter reached a unique dark color and a deep, noble taste, seasoned with hints of cedar.

Pours black with thick tan foamy head and lacing. Sweet notes of chocolate and expresso. Balanced taste that has a bitter kick to it. Smooth going down.

Not much of a nose.. some cocoa. Looks like coffee, diminishing head. Flavor: toffee/candied malt, splash of chocolate. Nice balance!

Tallahassee, Fl - Earth Fare - 500 ml bottle. Pours a thick, deep dark brown with a frothy khaki colored head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma of cola and chocolate. Flavor is full-bodied and rich with some dates, raisins, molasses, caramel and chocolate. A regular flavorfest - solid and rib-sticking. Thick, sticky mouthfeel. Always thought I had rated this before - glad I checked and went back and picked one up!

New Beer Distributors 500ml ($2.25): Pours a nearly black color with minimal brownish head. Aroma of roasted malts, a whole lot of molasses, and fruity sugars. Taste is rather sweet. Hops and roasted malts make their presence felt primarily around the finish. Mouthfeel is a little syrupy, but not excessively. Chocolate flavors mostly. Baltic porters are a beer hated by many because of their sweetness, but I think this one manages to balance it well against the roasted malts. In any case, for only $2.25, this is a pretty good deal (especially considering the alcohol content)...

Bomber type thing. Pours chocolate brown with a red tinge. Little lacing, nice tan head. Aroma of sweet dark fruits, licorice. Flavor is a sweet mixture of licorice up front, then more complex dark fruits at the back end. Very little to no carbonation, quite sweet, and the alcohol isn’t hidden much. For me, this beer takes me instantly back to my first night at Brewer’s Art in Baltimore. This beer might be sweet and a little rough around the edges, but I like it for what it is: a Polish beer with high alcohol content that is meant to be shared with friends on an unforgettable night.
