COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Another, after Okocim Wheat, koneserski variant in the family Okocim, which promises exceptional taste and aesthetic experiences. By combining several types of malt, including Munich, caramel and roasted, and two month aging period okocimski Porter reached a unique dark color and a deep, noble taste, seasoned with hints of cedar.

Poured dark brwon near black with a small creamy-lacing tan head. Fine aroma with dark chocolate, deep roasted grains and caramel, fruity character of plum and cherries, some mild wooden casks. Strong, powerful flavor with caramell and roasted barley, burnt woods and molasses, sweet raisins, dark chcolate. Roasted aftertatste. Well done, positive surprise!

Countbeer (1686) - Best of Eindhoven ohne Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - SEP 13, 2010
Bottle: Big light brown foamy head. Dark amber to brown body. Smell coffee, hint of iron, roasted malts, hints of tar, spices and hints of dark fruits. Wow, taste is rich flavored, didn’t really expect this after the bit softer smell. Coffee, hops/bitter, light dark fruity, hints of roasted malts, brown sugar. Full taste of coffee, roasted malt, chocolate, dark fruits (raisin), spices, hints of liquorice and bittering hops. Nicely balanced. Long bitter aftertaste with hints of coffee roasted malts and bit of a dry-ish warmth.

(22oz. bottle). Pours dark brown with thin tan head. Decent lace. Aroma of milk chocolate, cooked banana, vanilla. Taste is slightly sweet, but some metallic bitterness. Medium bodied and thin/creamy texture. Finish is metallic and roasty bitterness. A little distracting.

Has the recipe changed on this? It seems like it used to be a little better. Still quite good. Alcohol warmth. Serving: Bottle

UPDATED: JUL 31, 2011 The aroma is very malty and almost sweet. The appearance is very dark brown; almost black. The head is frothy and tan. The taste is somewhat bitter, but moreso malty. The palate is very thick and almost viscous. Overall, a very good Polish beer.
