I’m still tasting this beer in my mouth, a day after I had it. Wicked strong alcohol taste and aroma. It was like drinkin creamed whiskey or something. I love strong beers as much as anybody else, but the whiskey flavor was unbalanced. dark chocolatey, big tan head.

Bottle, sampled at House of Brewers, Brussels, thanks to Bractwo Piwne. Yet again, this has to be said about this beer - the production is made only for the North American Market, although there were rumours that it was going to be sold in Poland again, which is wrong. Almost black in colour, with a tint of red with solid foam. Grassy, herbal aroma, and of course darker malt sensations but not seeming to be very sweet. Flavour is sweet malty with light mocha tones and little bit of caramel and licorice. It is fairly light bodied considering it’s a Baltic Porter and that at 8,3%. The finish is pretty short with a reasonably dry finish.

16.9oz. bottle from MO. Pours an almost black with ruby edges. A thin tan head that didn’t last, but left some lacing. Aroma of that classic baltic poter sweet malt with notes of alcohol, caramel, and oak to it. The flavor is nice and complex. Not as sweet as the aroma indicates, this is a good thing, and the intermingling of caramel, chocolate, toffee, smoke, and oak are wonderful. As are the creamy texture, medium body, and long warm finishing feel. Wonderfully smooth baltic that is now my favorite of this sweet style porter.

500 ml bottle poured into an English pint glass. Got this at the Flying Saucer in KC. Aroma: Very sweet and malty. Some smokiness and roast as well as toffee and caramel. Has that "bourbon barrell" smell to it as well. Appearance: Very thick, dark and heavy brown. Dark tan head that dissipates quickly. Has a real smooth and creamy look to it. Flavor: Malty, sweet chocolate, nice mocha and slightly bitter aftertase. Definitely a bourbon barrell aged taste as well. Roasty aftertaste. Palate: Pretty light bodied for a porter. Smooth, creamy, coats the mouth well. Slight carbonation on the back of my tongue. Overall: I really enjoyed the bourbon taste. Not a traditional porter which made this a really good beer in my opinion. A little too light for my style, but I appreciated something different.

Bottle shared by chadspivey. Thanks man!
Pours a dark brown color with a small light tan head atop. Smell is slightly meaty and smoky, with more roastiness though. Taste is smooth and lightly roasty and fairly straight forward with a bit of a stale-ish cardboard like maltiness. A bit too light bodied bodied. Decent, but not really that good, I thought.
