Średnie piwo, ale przypomina mi miłe czasy. Na etykiecie słynny Zagłoba pijący piwo. Lager mocno wysycony jasnego koloru ze sporą pianką. Smak to już gożej, słodkawy i odrobina hmielu w końcówce. Po latach przywrócone do produkcji ale troche inne w smaku i wyglądzie jest tamto piwo.

Okocim Zagloba was one of my favourite beers, one of the best in Europe, before Okocim brewery got a part of Carlsberg. Okocim becaming /changing to Carlsberg, good old traditions of Polish Okocim started to dissapear. Now when i visit Poland I dont buy its beers becouse it is not this good Okocim but bad Carlsberg.

Bottle. Yellow with a medium rather short lasting white head. Aroma of malt, grains and some hops. Flavour is crisp, malty with some sweetness, grainy, some bitter hops. Bit bitter in the finish.

Wonderful, another retired beer than shouldnt be drank after one year (or less.) Well, guess that just my luck. Pour is a slightly hazy gold color and a white head. The aroma is grassy and pretty much a standard lager smell, I’ve got something boiling in the kitchen 10 feet from me so its filling up most of the smell. The flavor is almost not there. Really, there is a bit of sugary sweetness, some grassy malt, but those are deep down there. Not a whole lot going on here.

Cellared can from a Polish co-worker which I opened over the weekend. Gold pour, with a solid hop presence and a smooth finish. Perhaps ballsier, and definitely with more punch than typical pilses.

This was a nice, strong, forward hoppy pilsener. Not delicate at all, more brutish, but with a clean natural finish following the brash forward bite. I liked it. For a while they had a crappy replacement "Export" Okocim before bringing back this one and that Export was really lame. I think they took their time and care with this superior Zagtoba (Which I’m pretty sure used to be labelled "pils" instead.)<r>,Requiem for a pretty good beer - tough yet respectable.

This is Ok for a Pilsener. Some bitter, earthy, mettalic, and straw flavors. Finishes some what bland, crisp, and clean.

Pale straw colour with a quickly disappearing white head. Leaves thin lace on the glass. Classic faint floral aroma with little trace of maltiness. Faint bitterness, thinnish body, but with a crisp finish. Pretty standard, but not offensive.

UPDATED: JAN 15, 2006 One of my favorite pilsners. Finished some of the last bottles available in Canada a few months ago. It would be my number one if it were not for the heavier, filling finish to this beer. That is personal taste though. I believe that a great Pilsner should be light in body and palate, start crisp, stay dry and aromatic to the nose, and then finish smooth with sharp citrus dryness. Oki smells great, starts crisp but is a bit heavy on the palate and finishes a tad filling. It is also one of the darkest Pilsners. These are all small idiosyncrasies in Oki’s overall character. Generally, it’s a very good Pilsner....I miss it

As this is listed as retired i hope this bottle is not too dated. Pale gold color with a nice off white head and a touch of lace. Pale malt and light floral aroma. Light malt flavors with a malt floral hops and plain sweetness that intensifies as it warms. A decent brew.
