COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

(Draught at Ölbaren, Copenhagen, 16 Feb 2012) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Roasted, malty nose with notes of chocolate, coffee and dried fruit (raisins, prunes). Malty, roasted taste with chocolate, coffee, dark bread and a gentle coffee bitterness in the finish. More or less a basic porter, but well made and tasty. Nice one.

On tap at Ølfestival 2011. It’s a dark amber to brown beer, a light beige head sits on top, leaving lacings. Roasted to burnt aroma with chocolate and coffee. Chococlate and coffee in the flavor too, dry and medium to full-bodied, smooth. Roasted malts and some licorice too. Roasted finish. A quite nice porter, although I like them more balanced, not only on the dark side. 110528
