2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draft at the brewery. Reddish pour, with off-white head. Sweet caramel malt, a bit musty, light hops, and more caramel malt. A more authentic Irish ale

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Classic Red, malty with some fruit, and mediumly hopped towards the finish. Very sessionable!

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft at the brewery. Reddish pour, with off-white head. Sweet caramel malt, a bit musty, light hops, and more caramel malt. As with most irish ales, I don’t like it much.

Excellent red. Aroma is sweet malts, and a little of that classic scotch ale peat... I guess that’s why they’re referring to it as a Celtic Ale. Sweet malt, and a little peat smoked malt up front, and a long, complex, and very large finish with just a hint of bitterness. This is a very big beer considering the ABV. I like it a lot.
