Ölands Segerstad Pale Ale Lättöl

0.33 l bottle at Akkurat, Stockholm. Slightly hazy golden color. The aromas of fruity and sweaty hops as well as honey. Dry bitter flavor with fruity hops and hint of honey. Slightly yeasty and sulphury. Salty bitter finish.

Bottle, 33cl - Hazy pale yellow color with a medium sized off white head. Aroma is very fruity with notes of pears, litchi and sourish apples. Flavor is fruity with notes of hops and citrus. Very good and exciting low alcohol!

Bottle at Bishops Arms, Malmö. Cloudy amber coloured with a medium sized off white head. Fruity aroma of hops, pine needles and burnt plastic. Fruity flavour of hops, citrus and burnt plastic. Hoppy finish. Good idea to make a hoppy low alcohol, unfortunately infected.

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a huge off white head. Solid orange fruity hoppy aroma. Dry hoppy, fruity and bitter flavoured with a vague caramel malt base. Bitter and dry finish. Lasting orange fruity and citric chemical finish.

Bottle. This is the second time I taste this beer. I thought there was something wrong with the first bottle i had, but since this one tastes the same - I guess this is how it should taste. A very bad brew from a sympathical brewer. Strange unnatural things going on in both smell and taste. Unbalanced.

(Bottle 33 cl) Hazy amber golden with a tall, dense off-white head leaving laces. Somewhat astringent and leathery hop aroma. Light-bodied with fruity accents and again some astringency in the finish. 200908

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 19 Sep 2008) Pale amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with hay, fresh grass and sourish hints of vegetables. Fruity taste with notes of hay, grapefruit and lots of citrussy hops in the finish. A lot fresher taste than aromas. Fairly dry and bitter. Thin body. Surprisingly nice and tasty for such a low abv.

Cloudy golden with medium off white head. Sweet yeasty aroma with grainy and malty notes. Sourish flavour with hoppy and grainynotes. Reminds me of dishwater.
