Bottled at RBESG 2007. An unclear amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet hoppy, lending it notes of grass and elderberry flowers. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of elderberry flowers as well as a floral hop note, leading to a dry and very bitter finish.

Rastacouere (6129) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 2, 2007
Cloudy dark amber pour. Light off-white head. Pretty citric, lemony and sour in the nose. Even for Olands, I must confess to finding the malt profile particularly dull. What’s noticeable is a hugely mineral, hard water and salty, very dry and bitter palate dominated by the salvaging citrusy hops. Brutal.

Bov (9492) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - OCT 1, 2007
courtesy of Per Forsgren/Samuelsson - hazy and dark ruby-brown colour with a solid and persistent beige head; very hoppy aroma with notes of almonds and bitter oranges; light-bodied with a solid bitterness; dry bitter hoppy and very herbal finish - I’m amazed to see what those guys can do with so few alcohol content!

Bottled. RBESG. Hazy red-amber colour. Yeasty backbone in aroma with jelly-ish hop varieties from the Marynka-hop, which derives from Fuggles as I remember it. Metallic, edgy hop dominate the flavour. Light bodied beer here with very low maltiness. Nice, distinct bitterness at this low abv-level.

omhper (19376) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JUN 28, 2007
UPDATED: JUL 6, 2007 Bottled. Pale nut brown, average head. Yeasty piney orangey jam aroma. Fairly sweet with odd and interesting Old English marmelade flavour, which I guess is from the Marynka hops. Light bodied without being thin. Piney citric bitterness. Fun!

ante (3374) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUN 21, 2007
Bottled. Pours out in a hazy reddish amber colour with a rich white foam. Dryish and really hoppy aroma of grass, leather and orange-peels with sweet and juicy undertones of bloodoranges. Hoppy flavour of grass, leather and salt with burnt and rubbery undertones. Light-bodied. Long bitter finish of grass, salt and orange-peels.
