Our new beer - Mountain Lime Lager. Available at the Tap Room in late May, our new beer is a real summer treat. Inspiration came from from walking onto the back deck of my house here in Bisbee on a Spring morning. A waff of lime fragrence from two blooming lime trees in the neighborhood created a freshness sooo invigorating. The essence of this experience is captured in our Mountain Lime Lager.

On tap at the brewery Aroma: Lots of fresh lime! An incredible amount of lime. Mildly sweet, almost marshmallow-y aroma. Appearance: Light haze, golden-yellow body. Low visible carbonation with a soda-like white head. Taste: Mildly sweet, fresh limes. Light, gently sweet malt. Palate: Ultra-light body. Very little carbonation. Short finish that ends on light malt. Overall: Ultra-light and refreshing! Tasty and sweet.

Hint of lime in the aroma is the only thing going for this beer. Was served too warm and was virtually flat. A local said the beers here are inconsistent.

growler from sprdv 8/21/11. hazy pale yellow with a small white head. smells fresh and great from across the room.... tons of lime goodness, grain and a hint of diacetyl. the flavor is not so invigorating.... lime, grain, buttery notes, earthy and dry, dry, dry....not bad and by far the best they have made. 7/3/6/3/12

Pale, hazy yellow with ring of head. Salty lime nose conjures up those corn-lime tortilla chis. Lime-aid flavored, light, tart, and salty. A refreshment suited for those extra hot Arizona days, but not my thing.

UPDATED: AUG 21, 2011 On tap at the brewpub. Hazy light gold pour with a thin foamy head. Light grain and lots of lime peel in the aroma. Flavor is light lager with a hint of lime. Not great, but definitely one of OBBCs better brews.
