3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours dark, copper brown with a faint head. Faint roasted malt aroma. Taste has some hops, but more roasted malt with a hint of sweet and a slight bitter aftertaste. Slightly effervescent with a bit more body than a typical lager. This is more what I expect of an Amber than a lot of the beers labeled that way.

Not as crisp as I'd want in a lager, but interesting none the less. Appearance is crystal clear Amber brown. Nice flavor and very smooth. An all day drinker for sure. Alabama is making some solid stuff.

Great smooth flavor. There seems to be a small hint of sweetness that I think is honey. Like the label of a black bear with a fish in its mouth, awesome beer!

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz. bottle. Pours a murky, dark brown, with a small, beige head. Aroma of chocolate malt, cinnamon, and some burnt toast. Dry, chalky maltiness, slightly sweet, and light bitterness. Medium body, astringent, and grainy. Overall, this is a strange beer, but despite the oddness, its still fairly tasty.
