cluny6 (61), Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England Feb 3, 2008 Very peculiar beer. It’s black with a smallish head that quickly dissapears. Malty, lemony grassywith a milky aftertaste. This beer does not taste like milk but there is something to it that reminds you of milk. Ok but not stellar.

Pours deep brown with a small, fine, creamy, off-white head. Aroma is soft chocolate, light caramel and roasted malts. A bit hin and watery palate. Flavour is just about infected, light roastiness and long, lingering aftertaste with chocolate and roasted malts. Could have been really good if not for the infection. Dedollewaitor (2036), Odense, Denmark Aug 25, 2008 50cl bottle. Pours nearly black with a small creamy head. Nose is roasted toffee & coffee. Smooth but thin palate. Low carbonation. Some sour notes in the end which I dislike. Notes of rye-bread. Could easily have been better! oh6gdx (5857), Vaasa, Finland Aug 6, 2008 Bottled. Deep amber colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, hops, some acidicness and mild chocolatey notes. Flavour is quite much the same, but has some smoked sour wooden notes to it. Bigtime roast in the aftertaste. Mes_and_Sim (4320), Highgate, Greater London, England Aug 4, 2008 A Sim rate (bottle at Chris O’s): Aroma is milky, chocolate. Wow. Like chocolate milk. Flavour too is milk and chocolate and oh, so creamy. harrisoni (5121), Ashford, Kent, England Aug 4, 2008 Bottle at Chris_o Pre GBBF Shindig 08. It’s black and it’s not made of rats. Actually pretty good. A little light in the mouth but pleasant enough to drink more of.
