Bottle. Black wee head. Very very light malt, touch of milk chocolate, hint of fruit fragrance, dab of dairy. Taste is super mild - again light on the malts, diluted cola, hint of funkiness. Very thin mouthfeel, in fact a touch thin on all fronts.

Bottle at home, from Eebria, 03/05/14. Black with a good sized tan covering that dissipates but retains. Nose is roast malt, earthy cocoa, light spice, dark toffee fudge. Taste is a little thinner, less cocoa, liqourice stick, light tobacco and leather tones, faint roast. Light to medium bodied, a little watery and thin, light dryness in the close. Ok - but nothing special, looks and smells good but falls away on the flavour and feel.

BB 02/15. Pours a dark brown ruby black with a light tan head. Nice milky choc, light coffee, woody aroma, slightly grassy too. Light body, thin, mild carbonation. Watery. And the milky chocolate is of the candy chemical variety... Not much else beyond that - a hint of coffee, some bits and pieces, lemon, toast, but its so watery. Poor.

Bottle 500 ml at home, into a snifter. ABV 4.5% Deep dark brown colour on the body, one shade lighter before called black. One finger of thick beige head, with good retention, leaving light lacing on the glass. Aroma of liquorice, roasted malts, light coffee. Taste of liquorice, a touch of lactic sourness, roasted malts, light bitterness on the aftertaste. Thin body, good carbonation. Overall okay beer, goes smoothly down.
